Fuhrgassl-Huber

The Fuhrgassl Huber winery was founded in the 1970s by Ernst Huber and his wife Gerti, and is located in Austria in Neustift am Walde, a pretty town on the edge of the city of Vienna. It is an exquisitely familiar company and the tradition is carried on today, with the same passion of the founders, by the nephew Thomas Huber.

The estate covers 31 hectares of vineyards in which the typical varieties of the area are planted such as the neuburger, the rheinriesling and the gruner veltriner. The fresh climate of the area and the particular composition of the soils favor the production of wines with a marked acidity and a typically mineral tone.

Fuhrgassl Huber focuses on the enhancement of the territory through wine and to achieve the goal has carefully chosen the most suitable parcels to express the character of each variety. The constant search for quality as a primary objective is demonstrated by the small number of bottles produced.
