Chateau Quintus

The history of Quintus is as ancient as that of Saint-Emilion; it is one of the oldest vineyards in the region, planted in at least the 4th or 5th century B.C. Perched high up on a limestone promontory (hillock), culminating at an altitude of 62 metres, Château Quintus is located at the furthest south-western part of the Saint-Emilion plateau and shares this marvellous position and fabulous micro-climate with the most renowned estates of the appellation.

The property, with 28 hectares of vines, has exceptional biodiversity thanks to the presence of its 2 hectares of grounds, its majestic Holm (evergreen) oaks, its low stone walls and verdant slopes. The team’s daily dedication to developing this incredible biodiversity has already been rewarded by the property obtaining the dual certification of High Environmental Value and ISO14001.
