It all began in 2005 when Simone Binelli followed his great passion, wine, and with the support of his wife he enrolled in Viticulture and Enology at the University of Florence. A path that led him within a few years to abandon the job of pharmacist and begin to cultivate the love for the countryside and for the natural beauty of Abruzzo. Thus Ausonia was born, a small and fascinating reality in Atri, in the province of Teramo, a winery that could not but favor the typical varieties of the territory, from pecorino to Trebbiano to, of course, to Montepulciano. Today, Simone's wines are particularly elegant and expressive, faithful witnesses to the territory and to the vintage that saw them being born. Magnetic wines, like its history.
