From this winery
  • Start up year: 1904
The Maison Arthur Metz is ideally located at the start of the picturesque Alsace wine circuit, the central route through the vineyards of Alsace. Arthur Metz is the star of the Alsace vineyards and the main producer of the sparkling wine Crémant d'Alsace. Arthur Metz is responsible for the vinification, ageing and bottling of the wines. The company's activities involve the entire winemaking and production process. Equipped with two crushing and winemaking centres: the Vendangeoir de Scharrachbergheim and the Epfig winemaking centre, it is able to process the harvest wine in the cellars in Marlenheim, in the heart of the vineyard.

The winery has developed a winemaking strategy based on the quality of the winegrowers and equipment together with the utmost attention to the winemaking process but they have also always been concerned with the quality of the wines. The numerous investments in the various production sites and the highly qualified team of oenologists are living proof of this. This expertise is often rewarded by many awards in national and international competitions.

At the prestigious Concours des Vinalies Natuales 2021 Arthur Metz was awarded with:
