Now Nino Negri can be regarded as one of the historic wineries of Valtellina and the entire Italian wine world. Founded more than a century ago, it is known worldwide and has been part of the Gruppo Italiano Vini since the 1980s. More than 250 associated producers confer grapes with shared selective protocols.

Harvest Second decade of September.
Wine making Selection of the grapes begins in the second half of September and is completed at the end of the month. The grapes dry naturally in boxes where they loose between 30 and 35% of their weight. Grapes are vinified in January in a temperature-controlled vinifier with prolonged maceration for 16 days.
