Still red from the Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru, 13.5% ABV, 100% Pinot Noir, produced by Domaine Bertagna. 0.75L bottle, 2021 vintage. A wine that embodies the history and tradition of Burgundy, a Grand Cru that comes from a historic and prestigious vineyard. Domaine Bertagna owns 17 hectares of vineyards, 16 of which are planted to Pinot Noir and 1 to Chardonnay. Hand-harvested with manual sorting and selective sorting in the cellar. Aged for 16-18 months in French oak barriques (100% new). Delicate and clean, with aromas of black fruits (marasca cherry liqueur) and blackcurrant that blend into a complex and elegant bouquet. Ruby red in color with purple reflections. Ample, well-balanced and full-bodied, with delicate tannins and discreet acidity, a wine that promises great emotions.

Today it is managed by Eva Reh-Siddle; in the last decade the domaine has been modernized with technological investments and new vineyard plots have been acquired. The diversity and completeness of the appellations makes Domaine Bertagna one of the most renowned in the region. The domaine is located a few hundred metres from the famous Château du Clos de Vougeot and directly overlooks the vineyards of the Vougeot appellation. Read more
