The flavour is dry, but not excessively, with good structure, tasty, and supported by a juicy citrus acidity. The fruit aromas, tropical above all, already perceived on the nose are reiterated. The aftertaste leaves a pleasant sensation of bitter orange.

Ca' del Bosco is the mainstay of the Franciacorta terroir. The Ca' del Bosco wineries were founded in the mid-1960s by Annamaria Clementi Zanella, who bought a modest house of the same name in Erbusco, which was endowed with vineyards and woods. However, her son, Maurizio Zanella, started wine production, enhancing the terroir's characteristics and transforming that small house into one of Italy's most productive wineries. In fact, these cellars are distinguished for producing the famousCa' del Bosco sparkling wine, which is characterised by its elegant yet strong personality given by intense, juicy aromas and fullness of flavour.Today Ca' del Bosco is a well-established business, producing numerous labels, including still wines, both red and white, and Franciacorta for which Xtrawine has reserved a place of honour. You can choose from bottles of the best vintages from 2008 with an ageing capacity of between 15 and 25 years that will bring out the best in all your dishes: from pasta to fish and shellfish to dessert, the fruity notes will envelop your palate with every sip. Story Harmony and integrity, a combination that expresses the essence of the Ca' del Bosco style, enshrined in this wine. The first wine, made in 1972, 'Curtefranca Bianco' remains the first work that still manages to amaze for its extraordinary capacity for evolution, thanks to unsuspected longevity. The Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco grapes come from selected vineyards, differing in exposure, location and clones. A seductive wine to savour with the nose. Subtle taste, fresh acidity, unmistakable long-lasting structure and long aromatic persistence. So many virtues, ideal for connoting different tasting moments. An excellent white for a wide choice of pairings.
Yield per hectare 9,600 kg/hectare
Harvest The third decade of August 2021.
Wine making The 'Curtefranca Bianco' is obtained from grapes grown in 11 vineyards that, in terms of exposure, clones and age, manage to express all the "magic" of a white wine in the Ca' del Bosco style. It is the perfect combination of the fruitiness of Chardonnay and the elegance of Pinot Bianco. Vinification takes place exclusively in temperature-controlled steel vats at a temperature of 18-20°C. After an ageing period of about 8 months, the Curtefranca Bianco is bottled without oxygen and without any beating, thanks to innovative filling systems that preserve its integrity.
