Cantina Tasinato is located in Veneto at the foot of the Euganean Hills, in the locality of Al Gallo di Due Carrare, in the province of Padua.
In the early 1960s, Vitaliano Tasinato decided to adapt family activities to the needs of time, beginning with the cultivation of native grape varieties.
His grandfather, over the years, first taught his son Anthony and then his nephew Michele the fundamental importance of respect for nature by sending them all the secrets to keeping healthy and lush vines, getting good grapes and producing a natural wine of great quality.
In the early 1980s, Nature wanted to give the Tasinato Family a spontaneous mutation of Merlot's vine, creating a stable, unique and incomparable production of pink-berried Merlot grape bunches.
This transformation, which has always intrigued researchers and oenologists, has given birth to the prestigious and sought after production of the Merlot Rosa, the flagship of the cellar.
Today Michele, together with his wife Elisa, manage the Cantina Tasinato, proud and aware of the precious inheritance, working with dedication to ensure a prosperous future for their company, without forgetting their origins and continuing to pay great attention to the teachings received from previous generations.
