Pulpit Rock Winery

The Brink family has dreamed for years of being able to offer their wines on the market. This dream became a project when Ernest Brink's children decided to complete their studies specializing in wine. Ernest was already one of the most important farmers and stockbreeders in South Africa when, in 2003, he decided to bring his sons Haumann and Van der Byl back into the company to take care of Pulpit Rock.

Since then they have been able to combine the most modern instrumentation available with traditional winemaking techniques to produce classy wines recognized as such throughout the world. The winery is located at the foot of Mount Kasteelberg, in the Swartland district north of Cape Town, known for the production of red wines, particularly Pinotage and Syrah.
