Domaine les Penitents (Alphonse Mellot)

The Domaine des Penitents, some 18 hectares of limestone rich in entrochus, facing due south and planted with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. A forgotten vineyard, just 35 kilometers from our Sancerre producers, and a real challenge for an adventurer in the kingdom of the wine. Organic and biodynamic cultivation, severe disbudding, grapes gathered and crated by hand, and sorting table.
