Description

Still red Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva, 16% ABV, produced by Tenuta Sant'Antonio. 2010 vintage, 0.75L bottle. An Amarone that embodies the power and elegance of Veneto, aged for three years in French oak barrels. The bouquet is intense and complex, with balsamic notes, ripe cherry, plum, berries, spices, and tertiary hints of cocoa and pipe tobacco. On the palate, it is dry, warm, and smooth, with remarkable acidity and well-integrated tannins. A ready-to-drink wine with great aging potential, ideal for pairing with red meats, aged cheeses, and rich dishes.

Tasting notes

Profumo

Perfume

Very intense, broad and fine. Immediately there are balsamic notes, almost iodine-like, carried by the notable alcoholic power, which then give way to the characteristic perfume of ripe cherries, plums, small berries; spicy aromas of star anise, cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper, vanilla and ginger; tertiary aromas of cocoa, chocolate, tar, almonds, toasted hazelnuts and pipe tobacco.

Colore

Color

Impenetrable ruby red.

Gusto

Taste

In the mouth it is certainly dry, warm and soft well supported by considerable acidity, savouriness and round tannicity. Balanced, very persistent and fine. Certainly ready, a wine with strong shoulders to stand the test of time.

We are 4 brothers with a deep knowledge of vines and their territory. Our dream was born among our father’s vineyards, in the heart of Valpolicella. It has rural origins and strong ambitions. It leads us to take the utmost care for the wine we produce at every processing stage. With a very clear intention: the pursuit of excellence.

Our vineyards extend between Soave and Valpolicella, noble territories with different characteristics and personality. These are territories where we know the terrain inside out, where the sun shines and when the shade comes so that we can rest for a while. This is our land and we love it.
