Still red Chianti Classico DOCG, 14.5% ABV, 100% Sangiovese, produced by Tenuta di Nozzole, a historic estate in the heart of Chianti Classico. 0.75 L bottle, 2022 vintage. The estate, purchased by the Folonari family in 1971, boasts a long winemaking tradition, with origins dating back to the 14th century. Maceration with délestage and pumping over in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 28°C. Aged for 10-12 months in toasted 225-liter French oak barrels with a 33% turnover and a minimum of 3 months in bottle. Generous aromas of ripe fresh fruit and spirituous cherry on the nose. Intense ruby red color. Broad, full, and assertive on the palate, with a persistent, balanced finish of soft tannins.
