Description
Organic still white wine from Tuscany, produced by Tenute del Cerro, 12.5% ABV, 100% Vermentino. 0.75 L bottle, 2021 vintage. A Vermentino made in Monteverdi Marittimo, in the province of Pisa, from organically grown grapes. Manual harvesting takes place around the first ten days of September. Vinification involves light skin maceration for several hours in the absence of oxygen. The grapes are softly pressed, and the must undergoes cold static decantation for 48 hours. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 15 degrees C. Aged in stainless steel on its fine lees for approximately 3 months. Its golden yellow color hints at its complexity. On the nose, it develops excellent complexity thanks to finely fruity and floral notes enriched with mineral hints. On the palate, it is soft and ample with a fresh and savory finish, a wine that best expresses its terroir.

Prugnolo Gentile, the grape variety at the basis of Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, is a typical Sangiovese of the area that has adapted to the soil and climate over the centuries. Vino Nobile is produced in three versions: Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva and the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano "Antica Chiusina" selection. In addition to these wines, the estate also produces Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG, Rosso di Montepulciano DOC, 'Manero' Rosso di Toscana IGT, and 'Sangallo' Vinsanto di Montepulciano DOC. Read more
