Description

Alìe, or “Halia”, a figure from Greek mythology, a sea nymph and a symbol of sensuality and beauty. Alìe, an elegant rosé with a pale pink hue and subtle ruby highlights, is a stylish, beautifully balanced blend of Syrah and Vermentino grapes, which express their finest qualities when grown near the sea. Scents of white flowers, wild strawberries and citrus peel combine with a hint of earthy minerality, typical of this growing area. With its delicate structure and lengthy, complex finish, Alìe is both an enchanting apéritif wine and a delicious accompaniment to a meal shared with close friends and family.

From this winery
Tenuta Ammiraglia lies in the heart of the Maremma, amidst vineyards that paint evocative geometries and hills that lap the nearby Tyrrhenian coast.

It is in this land of Tuscany warmed by the sun and mitigated by the sea breeze that the Tenuta Ammiraglia of the Frescobaldi family was born. It is home to an area of great potential for the production of high quality wines, as well as undoubted natural beauty, so fascinating and still unspoilt.

The estate's signature wine cellar originates from a project by Piero Sartogo and Nathalie Grenon and today represents a temple of design at the service of wine production of the highest quality, with an eye always turned towards respect for the surrounding environment.

Tenuta Ammiraglia in fact means Tuscan wine known throughout the world and produced with great respect for the Tuscan wine-making tradition, without ever forgetting innovation and attention to the future of the sector.

Harvest Once harvested, the grapes are quickly transported to the wine factory.
Wine making The crushing stage is very important. Without oxygen, the bunches are loaded whole into the press. The pressure applied during this phase is of the utmost softness and delicacy. This process, together with the careful selection of the must and its subsequent decanting for no less than 12 hours, makes it possible to eliminate all the vegetal components that would otherwise make the wine unpleasant. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of less than 20°C.
Aging On fine lees for a few months, including a subsequent period in the bottle.
Year production 300000 bottles
Allergens Contains sulphites
