Description
A brut classic method sparkling wine from Alghero DOC, 12% ABV, produced by Sella & Mosca. An Alghero Torbato that celebrates Sardinia and its native grape variety, using a classic method that enhances its freshness and complexity. Soft pressing; cold static decantation; inoculation with selected yeasts; initial fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel; secondary fermentation in stainless steel pressure tanks for 20 days. Aged on the lees in stainless steel for 3 months. The aromas range with joyful vivacity from acacia blossoms and pink grapefruit, to noble yeasts and bread crust. Bright and brilliant straw yellow. A hint of iodine reverberates on a flavorful, fresh and balsamic palate, creamy on the entry yet dry and upright. The aromatic nuances never abandon the sip, carried by the acidity into a never-ending finish.
