Description
Still white wine from Trentino-Alto Adige, 13.5% ABV, produced by Schloss Englar. 100% Chardonnay. 2021 vintage. A wine born from sunny vineyards and a passion for viticulture passed down over time. The grapes, hand-picked in three phases to ensure perfect ripeness, give life to a complex and enveloping wine. Spontaneous fermentation in wooden barrels, monthly batonnage, and aging for 16 months in wood. Very fruity nose, with nuances of apricot and peach, smoky vanilla, and a fresh minerality. Greenish yellow in the glass. Fine acidity, a lovely finish with enveloping tannins and light oak. Excellent aging potential.
