Description
Still red wine, produced in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, 12.5% ABV, 100% Schioppettino, from Ronchi di Cialla, 2018 vintage. A wine that tells the story of a native grape variety and a family that has dedicated its life to its development. Extended maceration for 4-5 weeks; indigenous yeasts; pumping over twice daily. Aged in French oak barriques for 14-18 months and aged for a further 30-36 months in bottle. A bouquet of exceptional elegance and personality. The most distinct sensations are white pepper and small red fruits, currants and blackberries, with intricate balsamic and undergrowth notes. Savory and full, with fruity sensations balanced with minerality; the supporting tannins are fragrant and well-ripened. Despite being a well-structured wine, it presents a refined and almost silky balance; it is baroque, aristocratic, of great elegance and long life; full character and breed.
