Description
Rosso Salento IGT, 13.5% ABV, produced by Terre Cevico, 100% Negroamaro. 0.75 L bottle, 2023 vintage. A wine that embodies the Apulian tradition, with a rich and complex aroma, aged in wood using various containers (barriques, tonneaux, large barrels). The grapes come from vineyards in Guagnano, in the province of Lecce, trained using the Alberello Pugliese (Pugliese bush) system. Manual harvest in late September. On the nose, notes of red fruits such as currant, cherry, and black cherry preserved in alcohol. On the palate, it is full-bodied, soft, and harmonious, rich in noble tannins, with a pleasantly persistent finish. The spicy notes of cinnamon, coffee, and vanilla make it particularly enveloping, velvety, and elegant.
