Barolo 2021, still red, produced by Matteo Ascheri in Piedmont, 14.5% ABV, 100% Nebbiolo. 0.75 L bottle, 2021 vintage. A Barolo that embodies the power and elegance of Nebbiolo, with a rich and complex aroma of ripe fruit, candied fruit, tobacco, and sweet spices. Harvested in October, fermented for approximately 18 days at 30°C. Intense garnet red color. Balanced, with excellent structure and perfectly integrated fine tannins. A wine that is both elegant and powerful. Awarded 94/100 Decanter, 92/100 James Suckling, 94/100 Robert Parker, 94/100 Vinous, 92/100 Wine Spectator.
