Description
Still red from Piedmont, 14.5% ABV, produced by Massolino - Vigna Rionda. 100% Nebbiolo, 0.75L bottle, 2023 vintage. A Langhe Nebbiolo that expresses the elegance of Piedmont's flagship grape, produced by a historic winery that has been producing high-quality wines since 1896. Vinification involves medium-term fermentation and maceration (8-10 days), similar to that of Barolo. Aged in traditional barrels for over a year. Delicate and pleasing, its predominant notes are raspberry and violet, while secondary aromas very similar to those of Barolo emerge with age. Garnet red in color, with varying intensity depending on the vintage. Its elegance makes up for its lesser structure compared to its older sibling, Barolo, and it presents a complete and captivating harmony.

With tenacity and passion, we have been making wine since 1896.
Azienda Agricola Massolino Vigna Rionda is the dream of our great-grandfather Giovanni, who founded the estate in 1896. In those days, it was a traditional Langa farm, producing fruit and vegetables, raising livestock and making wine.
Our family is firmly at the helm of the historic estate that inhaled the vibrant air full of change of the late 19th century and navigated the tides of the first half of the 20th century. Today, we face the new challenges of the 21st century, in the capable hands of the third and fourth generations.
We are Massolino Vigna Rionda and we are writing a legacy with our wines. Read more
