A still red from Torgiano Rosso Riserva DOCG, 14% ABV, produced by Lungarotti. 100% Sangiovese, 2019 vintage. A wine that represents the history of Umbria, a tribute to Italian winemaking tradition and excellence. Rubesco is a fictional brand, deriving from the Latin verb rubescere, to blush: therefore, a joyful meaning. Elegant and complex, it recalls sour cherry and violet; delicate hints of violet and refined woody notes (cocoa, coffee); a spicy finish of pepper and cloves. Intense ruby red with purple hues. Warm and consistent in structure, complex and slightly balsamic fruit; lively and pleasantly fresh acidity, intriguing tannins, a long finish with a spicy finish.
