Description
The Martini sparkling wine cellar is located in the ancient wine country of Cornaiano. Bubbles have been produced here since 1985 with traditional grapes (chardonnay, pinot bianco and pinot nero). After at least 4 years of permeation on the yeast at a constant temperature, the sparkling wine matures in the cellar with faces to transform itself into the noble Comitissa which in ancient Latin means Countess.

Under its turn since 1985 the Martini family has been making traditional grapes, Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco, to produce the precious bubbles.
After three years of bottle aging according to the classic method, the noble sparkling wine Comitissa Brut Riserva is obtained.
The grapes used, 30% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Bianco and 40% Pinot Noir, come from the vineyards of Cornaiano, Appiano-Monte and Cologna-San Genesio which are located between 500 and 800 m s.l.m.
Despite the predominantly Mediterranean climate, these regions give the final product a pleasant freshness and its unmistakable aroma. Read more
