Description
Still red wine from Tuscany IGT, 14.5% ABV, produced by Le Macchiole, 100% Merlot, 2021 vintage. Messorio is a wine born from a passion for Merlot, aged for 18 months in new barriques. Intense on the nose, with clear notes of sour cherries, plums, and black cherries, closely followed by licorice, mentholated tobacco, cinchona, dark spices, and vegetal and aromatic notes. Ruby red in color, compact and luminous. Consistent on the palate, balanced and soft, with smooth tannins and a pleasant fresh-savory kick. Persistent finish.
