Still red wine from Bolgheri, Tuscany, 13.5% ABV, produced by Le Macchiole. Blend: 40% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Syrah. 0.75L bottle, 2023 vintage. Le Macchiole is one of Bolgheri's historic wineries, having become an absolute benchmark for quality Tuscan wine. Fermentation and maceration in stainless steel for 15 days. Aged for 10 months, 80% in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th passage barriques, 20% in concrete. Spices, green pepper, and vanilla, with long, subtle aromas of wild berries. Intense ruby red with purple highlights. Elegant and balanced. The tannins lend a sensation of freshness, length, and a sweet finish.
