Fornelli is the name of the cru where the grapes come from. The name originates from ancient kilns where the clay in the soil was fired to create the amphorae in which wine was contained, the jars in which oil was contained, vases, ornamental dishes, building bricks, etc.

At the end of the 19th century, the estate passed into the hands of the Sireci family, in the person of Rosario, the grandfather of the current owner Fabio.
