Description
Still red Taurasi DOCG, 13.5% ABV, produced by Feudi di San Gregorio. 100% Aglianico, 2020 vintage. A Taurasi that embodies the strength and elegance of Aglianico, Campania's flagship grape, with a winemaking process that enhances its complexity and longevity. Alcoholic fermentation and maceration in steel tanks for approximately 3-4 weeks. Aged for approximately 18 months in medium-toasted French oak barriques. Bottled: at least 9 months in bottle. Fragrant aromas of sour cherry and morello cherry, cinnamon and nutmeg, vanilla and anise. Bright ruby red color with garnet highlights. The palate is full and balanced with sweet, soft tannins that give it a good aromatic persistence.
