The Feudi di San Gregorio winery, was founded in 1986 in the town of Sorbo Serpico in the hills of Irpinia and today is one of the symbolic brands of the wine renaissance in southern Italy. The initial 30 hectares of vineyards in Sorbo Serpico have been joined by others in the municipalities of Taurasi, Tufo and Santa Paolina, bringing the total to over 300 hectares of vineyards today, which benefit from the immense properties of the volcanic soil and a climate characterised by significant temperature excursions that enrich the olfactory bouquet of Feudi San Gregorio wines. Feudi San Gregorio stands out for the production of wines such as: Taurasi, Greco di Tufo, Fiano, Falanghina and Rubrato, all from indigenous vines and made with respect for the terroir. Tradition and innovation come together in the Feudi San Gregorio winery, with spaces and shapes that are particular to the place, housing a large barrique cellar that also aims to impose itself as a place of refreshment where new ideas can be discussed and brought to life. The Guida Berebene 2022 of the Gambero Rosso awarded the Quality-Price Award to two top wines: Irpinia Aglianico DOC Visione 2020 and Basilisco Aglianico del Vulture DOC Teodosio 2019.
