Description
Still red Barolo DOCG, 15% ABV, produced by Damilano. 100% Nebbiolo, 0.75L bottle, 2020 vintage. A Barolo that embodies the tradition of one of Barolo's historic wineries, with roots in the 19th century. Produced in the Brunate subzone, in the municipality of La Morra, where the limestone soil and southeast exposure give the wine structure and complexity. Fermentation at a controlled temperature for 20 days. The color is garnet red with orange highlights. On the nose, intense notes of wild berries, licorice, tobacco, and cocoa are perceived. On the palate, it is dry, full-bodied, with a persistent finish, austere, and velvety.
