Still organic red wine from Emilia-Romagna, Romagna DOC, 13.5% ABV, produced by Chiara Condello. 100% Sangiovese. 0.75L bottle, 2022 vintage. A Sangiovese born from the passion of Chiara Condello, custodian of a viticultural history that has been written and passed down for hundreds of years in the hills of Predappio. In wood and stainless steel. Fermentation: spontaneous. Maceration: 15-25 days. Aged in Slavonian oak barrels and stainless steel. Intense ruby red. Fruity and floral notes of red berries on the nose. Broad and enveloping flavor.

A Sangiovese that returns exactly my ideas of winemaking. I have chosen a little piece of land close to a forest, in the heart of the appellation Predappio, in between 150 and 300 meters above sea level. Here the vines are deeply rooted in a poor calcareous-clay soil which is rich in pliocenic sandstones called Spungone. Here 3 million years ago there was a sea, and from here I started working to produce a wine that is the expression of this uniqueness. Read more
