Description
A still red from Tuscany, a Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Poggio alle Mura Riserva, 15.5% ABV, produced by Castello Banfi, 1.5L magnum, 2018 vintage. A Brunello Riserva that embodies Banfi's history and passion for the Montalcino region. The bouquet is rich, with hints of cherry and blackberry that blend beautifully with notes of tobacco and licorice. The structure is soft and enveloping, well-supported by just the right amount of acidity. The finish is long and mellow. Aged in 350L French oak barriques for 12 months. Suitable bottle aging follows. An ideal wine to accompany red meats, game, and aged cheeses.
