Description
A still red from Tuscany IGT, 14.5% ABV, produced by Casanova di Neri. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2021 vintage. A wine that embodies the passion and dedication of Giovanni Neri, the winery's founder, for great Italian reds. After being hand-picked, the grapes are carefully selected and vinified, with a 15-day maceration. Aged for 18 months in small oak barrels. Aromas of blackberry, mint, and mineral notes blend into a mouthfeel of dense tannins perfectly blended into a sweet and long-lasting finish.

| Wine making | After the grapes have been harvested, which is done strictly by hand, the bunches are transported to the cellar where they are checked on a sorting table to remove any parts that are not deemed suitable for the high quality to be achieved. A machine then separates the berries from the stalks, which fall onto a further sorting table. The grapes, thus selected, go by gravity into the vats where the vinification process takes place. |
