Description

Iarsera, 100% Sangiovese, was born from the desire to vinify our main grape variety in purity. The result is a wine of great personality and depth, a crisp and fresh version of Sangiovese that does not preclude the aptitude for ageing.

Producer
Calafata
From this winery
Its name comes from the master caulkers who, thanks to their knowledge, a rope and some pitch, could create safe and waterproof boats. Calafata is conceived to be a place of planning and working, centred on the love and the attention invested in the places we live in focusing on ways of working and social inclusion for all those people who are in marginalised and disadvantaged conditions.

It is an idea of an agricultural enterprise which is able to combine the quality of its products, the dicipline required by the ground and the leading role of all those who work it.
