Description
A still white wine from the heart of Lugana, in Lombardy, 13.5% ABV, produced by Ca Maiol. 100% Trebbiano di Lugana, 2022 vintage. A wine born on the shores of Lake Garda, an expression of a unique and fascinating terroir. The grapes are hand-picked. A portion of the grapes are chilled in a cellar before being gently pressed, followed by careful vinification in stainless steel. Extended aging on the fine lees, with a small portion fermented and aged in small, previously used oak barrels. Rich and fragrant aromas of yellow-fleshed and tropical fruit, with floral and mint notes, and a refined finish of sweet, toasted spices. Bright straw-yellow color. The palate is focused on freshness, yet concentrated and dynamic, with savory flavors dictating the pace and a finish centered on crisp fruit and balsamic notes.

Starting with a single farmhouse, over the decades it has expanded both in terms of structures and vineyards, thus expanding a unique offer for the denomination. We are in the Lugana area, a harmony of flavours and atmospheres that extends south of Lake Garda over a unique territory.
The calcareous soil, the result of a millennial process, and the typical lake climate contribute to making this an ideal place for growing vines. It is here that delicate white wines with an unmistakable freshness are born, wines that are genuine expressions of the territory in which they are born. Read more
