Description

Bérèche Champagne Brut Réserve is an AOC champagne, a French acronym for Appélation d'Origine Contrôlée and corresponding to the Italian DOC. Three grape varieties are used to produce it, the most typical of Champagne: Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir, and Chardonney, perfectly balanced at one-third each. All the grapes used to produce this champagne come from the large plot of land, over 10 hectares, owned by the Bérèche family, which has been making wine in the Vallée de la Marne and Montagne de Reims since 1847. Bérèche Champagne Brut Réserve is produced exclusively with grapes grown naturally and organically, without the use of chemical insecticides and herbicides. This allows for the production of naturally fragrant and golden grapes, rich in all the nuances of flavor and fragrance typical of a classic cuvée. The Bérèche Brut Réserve is vinified exclusively in large oak or steel barrels, then fermented on its own yeasts, excluding selected or manipulated yeasts from the maturation process. The use of yeasts naturally produced by the fermentation of the grapes allows the champagne to perfectly preserve all its organoleptic qualities, including the nuances of aroma and flavor which, in this case, are represented by a light aftertaste of dried fruit and walnut husk. The fermentation of this champagne lasts at least 24 months: this gives it perfect and balanced maturity and makes it an inimitable wine for fish and shellfish, ideal for those who love sparkling wines.

The 5th generation has been in place since 2004. The last 10 years have been dedicated to several key factors: the transmission of expertise, the quality of work and the continuity of the style of the House. We respect our soil and our vineyards to the highest point. We want to hand them down intact for future generations. We pay attention to every detail of our work in order to excel in precision, tradition and respect for life to serve our wines.

Every action has been adequately thought out. Of course our land is plowed and we also use weed control to limit disease. This vegetation cover avoids herbicides, insecticides and anti-rots. Everything begins with the soil. The fertilization is organic. We feed wildlife which in turn feeds flora and thus the soil is working. As a result the House Be´re^che has one of the lowest treatment frequency index in the Champagne region. It is also among the first to be certified High Environmental Quality (level 3).
