Description
Rigorous, frank, with dense sapidity, important structure and good acid structure. Part of the grapes come from the highest vineyard, Pian delle Viti, known in the Middle Ages as the Valle Sospesa (Suspended Valley), which is largely of marine origin and only partly lapped by the glacier. The chalky soil lends a pleasant spicy note. Franciacorta bites into the marrow.
