Description

The story of love for life and wine, a family of old Italian traditions. 50 years of passion, 50 harvests of love. The story of this family has always been written by two figures, Luigi and Giovanna - and has been characterised by their respective passions: the indigenous grapes and the Botrytis. The local varieties reflect the most ancient tradition of our area and denote wines of great structure and complexity. The Botrytis “Noble Rot” enhances the grapes' elegance and aromatic quality in a voluptuous play of poetry and feelings. From the union of these two passionate visions, “LUIGI E GIOVANNA” comes the most representative wine of this mutual love for wine and life.

A story of a precious wine that originated in the vineyards on the green slopes of Umbria bent to the wind's coils and caressed by Lake Corbara.

A unique and intoxicating nectar, born from the passion of Luigi and Giovanna Barberani.

Indeed, it is since 1961 that the Barberani family has been renewing the ancient ritual of the grape harvest with skilful hands, transforming the grapes into a symphony of aromas and flavours with total respect for the local terroir and tradition.

Finally, it is a story of passion rooted in the past. It traces the future of Umbrian agriculture in a timeless journey through love and devotion handed down from generation to generation.
