Still red Barbera d'Asti Superiore La Bogliona DOCG, 14.5% ABV, produced by Scarpa. 100% Barbera. 1.50-liter magnum format, 2020 vintage. A wine made by a historic winery, founded in 1854, which has always focused on style, elegance, and longevity. Produced with grapes from the "I Bricchi" estate located on the border between Castel Rocchero and Acqui Terme. Aged in 50-hl French Allier oak barrels. Ruby red with vibrant purple hues. Intense, deep, and persistent with notable notes of plum and dried red fruit, minerally and savory. Always persistent and refreshing, its elegance emerges after the fifth year of aging.
