Description

The movie 'Sideways' relaunched Pinot Nero as a non-sanctioned and non-sanctionable grape variety. Although it is actually cultivated in many regions of the world, Pinot Nero remains a difficult, stingy grape that often gives wines with little concentration, which is why it remains the forbidden dream of many winemakers. It has been produced since 1990, and it is the prototype of the annual challenge to always do better.

Perfume

Perfume

Notes of ripe berries, tobacco and spices. The roastiness is well interpenetrated with the red fruit aromas.

Color

Color

Deep garnet with cherry notes.

Taste

Taste

It is full-bodied, with a significant acid structure and tannins of great finesse, well smoothed and resolved by the passage of time. An enthralling finish in which the balsamic notes picked up by the nose are perfectly rediscovered.
