Description
What kind of wine it is
Revì Paladino is a Brut Riserva sparkling wine that powerfully and minerally expresses the Trentino region. This Blanc de Blancs is made from organic grapes, enhancing the elegance that distinguishes Chardonnay. In the glass, it appears a straw yellow colour, crossed by a fine and persistent perlage that heralds a structured profile. On the palate, freshness combines with a pronounced savouriness, offering a long-lasting taste. Its production strictly follows the principles of the Traditional Method, a technical choice that defines the deep identity of this Revì label.
Where it comes from
The roots of this sparkling wine lie in Aldeno, in the heart of Trentino Alto Adige, a mountainous area highly suited to precision viticulture. The Trento region places Revì Paladino in a historic area, specialised in creating sparkling wines with a distinctive character. The region's climatic conditions give the grapes the ideal tension for long ageing. The winery's rigour is confirmed by prestigious awards, including the Bibenda 5 Grappoli, which certify the absolute consistency in quality of this Riserva.
How it is produced
The production process is guided by total respect for the raw material, sourced exclusively from organic farming. After the first fermentation, the wine undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle according to the Traditional Method. The 56-month ageing on the lees allows the sparkling wine to develop a complex and evolved aromatic texture. On the nose, it opens with delicate floral and fruity notes, gradually giving way to enveloping pastry notes. This prolonged ageing imparts the ideal structure to balance the natural mineral freshness of the sip.
History and Curiosities
The Revì Paladino 2019 is a prestigious Trentodoc Blanc de Blancs that represents the pure expression of Aldeno's organic Chardonnay. Part of the “The Heroes” collection, this Traditional Method wine is aged for 56 months on the lees, releasing a fine perlage and aromas of flowers, fruit, and patisserie. On the palate, it offers remarkable mineral freshness and a long savoury finish. Awarded the 5 Grappoli Bibenda, this Brut Riserva also captivates with its artisanal presentation: a screen-printed bottle adorned with a distinctive maize leaf on the neck.
