"When I finished my studies, my father Gianfranco asked me what I wanted to do in life. My answer was that I wanted to keep alive the tradition of work that grandfather Achilles had, with a happy intuition, started in 1926 and that he, assisted by my mother, had wisely carried on.

Now with my wife Barbara and with the precious help of the oysters Attilio Pagli and Leonardo Conti, and of the agronomist Stefano Dini, curo and vinifico 15 hectares of vineyard in the historic area of ??the Christ of Sorbara, the thinnest extension of land including between the Secchia and the Panaro, the two rivers that embrace the Modena province.

Here, for three generations, my family lives and works, vinifying the grapes produced in our vineyards. Respecting and valorizing what is being donated to us every year is an adventure for us that is continually renewed in the recurring season. "

Located in the heart of Sorbara, at the heart of the fertile Modena province, Cantina Paltrinieri is a family-run farm dedicated to producing Lambrusco di Sorbara doc for three generations.

The activity of the Paltrinieri Cellar began in the mid-twenties of the last century, when Achille, an esteemed and enterprising pharmaceutical chemist in the country, built the first part of the cellar, then expanded and developed by his son Gianfranco and today managed in an extraordinary conjunction of ancient wisdom and of modern technology by his nephew Alberto. The Paltrinieri Cellar produces Lambrusco di Sorbara doc from carefully selected and expertly vinified grapes, coming exclusively from vineyards.

Paltrinieri Lambrusco Radice 2019 has been awarded by AIS with the Tast and Vin and is one of the 22 best regional wines of Italy.
