Description
What kind of spirit is this?
Essentiae Persichetto by Lunae is a distinctive peach leaf liqueur crafted from a precise blend of natural ingredients. It reveals a clear orange colour enhanced by copper reflections. The aromatic profile is notably intense, defined by persistent almond notes that transition seamlessly to the palate. Upon tasting, it delivers an enveloping experience with measured sweetness and a harmonious, rounded finish at 23% ABV.
Where does it come from?
The origins of this liqueur lie in the Liguria region, specifically in Luni, historically known as the City of the Moon. The recipe is rooted in the local customs of the Cinque Terre, focusing on using accessible agricultural resources to forge a distinct character. By combining essential ingredients with botanicals, the spirit reflects established regional practices. This geographic identity yields a coherent aromatic structure and a deep connection to the territory.
How is it produced?
Lunae crafts Essentiae Persichetto in small quantities, following a meticulous regional recipe. The aromatic base is created from May to August, capturing the precise essence of the botanical elements. Following the blending process, the liquid undergoes a slow 24-month maturation period. This extended resting phase is crucial for stabilising both the vivid hue and aromatics, ultimately creating a clean structure and a harmonious taste profile.

Cantine Lunae deepen their roots in the millenary hystory of this land and people, whose great vine-growing and wine-making tradition have inherited. Etruscans, or perhaps Ligures and then Romans, were the first to grow vineyards in the surroundings of the beautiful Luni, the "Moon City".
These lands have given birth to our vineyards, to our passion, to our wine!
