Description
Wine style
The Champagne Premier Cru Les Beaux Regards Extra Brut by Béréche is a Blanc de Blancs made from Chardonnay grapes. In the glass, it presents an intense golden yellow colour, enlivened by a creamy and persistent perlage. The aromatic profile reveals refined hints of beeswax, pear, and candied citrus fruits. On the palate, it is energetic and well-structured, driven by a vibrant chalky minerality and a distinct saline quality. Capable of solid ageing potential, it pairs perfectly with shellfish, sushi, fried fish, and soft cheeses.
Origin
This wine originates from the famous Champagne region of France. The grapes are grown in Le Craon de Ludes, an area that gives an unmistakable character to the Chardonnay. The chalky soil composition is expressed in the glass with a strong savoury edge and a distinctive mineral tension. The Béréche winery tends the vineyards by adopting rigorous environmental protection principles, through ploughing and organic fertilisation. This approach preserves the vitality of the land, ensuring that the grapes accurately reflect the authenticity of the terroir of origin.
Production method
The production of the wine follows the rigorous Traditional Method, an essential step in developing the elegance of the palate and the very fine texture of the bubbles. The cellar process is completed with an Extra Brut dosage, a stylistic choice that ensures a dry taste faithful to the area of origin, without sugar interference. The result is an ideal tactile balance between richness and freshness. To enhance the fragrance of the aromas and the tasting dynamics, a serving temperature between 6 and 8 °C is recommended.

Every action has been adequately thought out. Of course our land is plowed and we also use weed control to limit disease. This vegetation cover avoids herbicides, insecticides and anti-rots. Everything begins with the soil. The fertilization is organic. We feed wildlife which in turn feeds flora and thus the soil is working. As a result the House Bérêche has one of the lowest treatment frequency index in the Champagne region. It is also among the first to be certified High Environmental Quality (level 3). Read more
