Chateau Le Freyche

Freyche Le Chateau is located in Saint Pey d'Armens in the department of Gironde. This winery was founded in 1970 by Henri Domézil, Claude's father, who will take over the estate in 1997. It is located on one of the eight municipalities of Saint-Emilion.
The vineyard of Château Le Freyche consists of a particle of 3.60 hectares of sandy land with high density planting of 5500 trees / ha, with an average age of 25.
The harvest is mechanical. The wine is made gently and naturally. The maceration is long in order to obtain optimal extraction of essential components (tannin, color and fruit).
This vinification method allows a slow and harmonious aging, faithful to the specificity of the soil.
