In the heart of the Marche and on one of the sunny and green hills that line the sides of the right bank of the Esino river rises Cupramontana, the noble and ancient homeland of Verdicchio. It is here that the Bonci family, for four generations, has started its wine production and marketing business. Domenico Bonci began in the early years of the last century, as well as with his own production, with a careful selection of companies and related products conducted with the knowledge of the connoisseur, allocating with appreciable foresight the best matches to the numerous visitors from across the Alps, who showed to appreciate the products of the earth elaborated by a fine craftsmanship.
Currently the Vallerosa Bonci Agricultural Company owns 30 hectares of land, of which 26 are cultivated with specialized vineyards for the production of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico with controlled designation of origin. The vineyards are located at an average height of 450 meters. above sea level in the most suitable areas of the territory of Cupramontana, in the districts of San Michele, Torre, Alvareto, Pietrone. The particular microclimate, the careful selection of the grapes, the many years of artisan winemaking experience, now married to the very modern winemaking systems, place the Vallerosa Bonci company in a leading position in the wine and sparkling wine sector.
