| Story | This typical, indigenous South Tyrolean grape variety finds an optimal habitat on the clay and limestone soils in the vicinity of the winery. Careful cultivation guarantees excellent results and imparts exceptional properties to this grape variety. |
| Yield per hectare | 70 hl |
| Wine making | The grapes are immediately destemmed and left to ferment for about 10 days at a constant temperature of 28 °C. At regular intervals, by racking and light crushing, the must is brought into contact with the skins. This ensures optimal absorption of the colour pigments from the skins while enhancing the wine's fruity aroma. |
| Aging | After two careful rackings, 70% of this Lagrein is left to mature for several months in large oak barrels, while the remaining 30% is placed in barriques for 2 - 3 years. After blending, the wine is bottled and left to rest for a few months before being released for sale. |
