Description
A still red wine from Friuli-Venezia Giulia, 12.5% ABV, produced by Volpe Pasini. 100% Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, a native grape variety that best expresses the character of the terroir. Vintage 2013. The estate, with a history dating back to 1596, is located in the Colli Orientali del Friuli. Fermentation in new barriques for 12 months and aging in bottle for another 12 months. Aromas of wild blackberry and wild berries, with a garnet red color tending towards purple. The flavor is dry, slightly tannic, full-bodied, with a lingering aftertaste.
