Description
Still red wine from Collio, a renowned area of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, 13% ABV, produced by Venica. 100% Cabernet Franc, 2022 vintage. A wine born from the passion of the Venica family, who have been producing high-quality wines since 1930. Vinification involves maceration for 8 days at a temperature never exceeding 24 degrees C. Aged for 14 months, 20% of the wine matures in 7.5 HL wooden barrels and the remainder in large 27 HL barrels. The bouquet, overall fruity with notes of small red berries, is characterized by the spicy and herbaceous nuances typical of this variety, particularly the unique notes of arugula, bell pepper, and cut grass. On the palate, it is ample and full-bodied, moderately alcoholic and tannic, yet soft and enveloping.
