Description
Sweet Passito from Emilia-Romagna, 14.5% ABV, 100% Albana. Produced by Umberto Cesari in Castel San Pietro Terme, 2015 vintage. A wine that tells the story of a winery that has believed in the potential of this terroir since 1964. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16°C and aging for 3 months in stainless steel tanks. Notes of yellow fruit, apricot, peach, and citrus peel, along with broom and peach blossoms. A bold straw yellow color with golden highlights. Dry, bold, with considerable body and a pleasant flavor. A lovely finish enlivened by a light touch of tannins.
