Description

Still white wine from Alto Adige DOC, 14% ABV, produced by Tiefenbrunner. 100% Pinot Grigio. 0.75 L bottle, 2022 vintage. A Pinot Grigio that expresses the elegance and freshness of the Alto Adige terroir, with grapes grown in vineyards south of Magrè and on the hills of Cortaccia. Fermentation and aging for ten months: 75% in large oak barrels with regular batonnage, and the remaining 25% undergoes malolactic fermentation in tonneau. After blending, the wine ages for another two months in concrete barrels, before being bottled and aged for another 5 months. A floral bouquet of aromatic herbs and ripe fruit, pear, peach, and melon. Straw yellow with sandy hues. The aging in large barrels is reflected in the rounded body and elegant, creamy finish.
