Description
Still red Barolo DOCG, 14% ABV, produced by Scarpa, 2021 vintage. A Barolo that embodies the history of a winery that has been producing legendary wines with an unmistakable style since 1854. Aged for over 36 months in 50hl French Allier and Slavonian oak barrels, followed by at least 12 months in bottle. Finishes with traditional aromas of licorice, violet, and tobacco, with balsam notes. Vivid crimson when young; orange hues appear in older vintages. Powerful and robust, elegant tannins with a long finish.
